Interior Decorating for the Homeowner
Discover the steps it takes to get started to decorate your home and choose your decorating style. Learn how to choose colors and fabrics that will have a positive effect on your home and family. The class includes selection and arrangement of pictures, finding a focal point in a room, and furniture selection and arrangement. Learn the best places to use window treatments and how to select wood flooring. A storyboard and imaginary budget will be created for one room in your home. This course combines illusion decorating and interior design to create a well-decorated room for your family. For our last class, we will be going to one lucky student's home to give decorating ideas. Instructor Jan Britt will be showing examples of what you have learned in the past four weeks as you tour a student's home.
